Paving works and coating of the Skhira sulphuric cell with acid-resistant plate GCT

The retention basin is an area that serves to contain possible leaks of sulfuric acid without affecting the floor or the ground around the sulfuric acid production units.

The retention basin must then be protected by an anti-acid coating.

The intervention of the company T.H.I REVETEMENT consists firstly in stripping the old anti-acid coating in anti-acid plate, secondly in demolishing the old reinforced concrete paving and the total cleaning of the zone.

After the stripping and cleaning works, a new reinforced concrete pavement with HRS cement is made.

Afterwards, a waterproofing coating is applied with anti-acid resin.The final step is the application of a 20mm thick anti acid plate grit coating applied with an anti acid resin mortar.
